In this guide, we’ll be able to tell you if you can currently play ranked mode in MultiVersus.

MultiVersus is the newest free-to-play brawler by Warner Bros. The game is now available through open beta.

However, since early access – there has been few features missing since releasing with ranked mode being one of them. The good news is that it’s definitely coming.

How to play Ranked in MultiVersus

Unfortunately, at this current moment of time – MultiVersus does not have ranked accessible yet.

However, when it does launch, the greyed out ‘Ranked’ in the home screen will be clickable – and you’ll be able to access it there.

Unlocking new characters and fighting in squads / solos is great fun due to the progression system. However without a ranked mode, all the efforts in grinding characters and winning could be made redundant.

Still, it’s a great time to get the practice in before putting your hard work to the test against the world.

We currently don’t have any details on the ranked system and the roadmap ahead for that game mode – but we’re hoping it’ll arrive soon.

While ranked mode is not available however, the 2v2 and 1v1 modes have a similar matchmaking rating.

While it won’t be official, expect to still be going up against competitive players as you polish your skills!

Predicted Release Date For Ranked Mode

A safe bet to predict when ranked mode will release is when preseason will end – August 7th, 2022.

*Update as of August 5, 2022* Preseason has been delayed! The expected end date of pre-season is now August 14th, 2022.

Is MultiVersus Currently Available?

Yes! The game is currently in Season One, however it has not updated yet with Season One yet

Around the proposed date of when ranked may be released is when it is expected MultiVersus will implement their first season including a brand new battle pass and eventually, ranked.

The game is out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox one and PC.
