*UPDATED* FIFA 23 pre order bonuses prediction & possible rewards for different editions

As we eagerly await the FIFA 23 release date, we look at possible FIFA 23 pre order options, and FIFA 23 pre order bonuses for differrent editions.

We suspect there won’t be a FIFA 23 demo, however, it is likely we will get early access to the latest football game.

Until EA fully announces the game, there is nothing but rumors and leaks to go off but we can look back at FIFA 22 and draw some conclusions from that.

If the Ultimate Edition ends up costing over $100, it may feature more pre-order bonuses than the previous title.

FIFA 23 pre order bonus & possible editions

Last year, FIFA fans could pre order FIFA 22 from June 11th and you were required to pre order the game before August 11th to ensure you received an untradeable FUT Heroes Player Item as part of your pre-order bonuses.

While the FIFA 23 pre order dates are clearly different this time around with it still yet to be announced, we think there will be similar pre order bonuses.

EA never go too crazy with naming conventions on their latest FIFA game editions and we expect much of the same for FIFA 23.

What did we see last year? Fans could buy the Standard and Ultimate edition for all platforms last year (excluding Nintendo Switch which had the ‘Legacy Edition’).

We expect something similar for FIFA 23, with the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition coming with various FUT players, items, cosmetics, FIFA points, and early access.

The FIFA 23 Standard edition should also include early access as a pre order bonus.

Last year, FIFA 21 owners were given a loyalty bonus for upgrading to the new game.

You could save yourself 10% by pre ordering through the game’s main screen.

At the bottom right there was a tab that said “PRE ORDER FIFA 22” – and you could click through to automatically add a 10% discount to your basket.

FIFA 23 pre order price predictions

Until we know what EA plans for their different editions of FIFA 23, it is hard to gauge the complete pricing.

We expect the price to be similar to FIFA 22, so let’s take a look back.

• FIFA 22 Standard Edition on PS4 and Xbox One Price: £59.99 / $59.99

We predict the FIFA 23 pre order price for the Standard Edition will cost between $50-$60.

We think the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition, if called that, could cost somewhere near $100.

FIFA 23 pre order release date prediction

We predict that fans will be able to pre order FIFA 23 in July.

The game is tipped to be announced early this month, so it would make sense that pre-orders begin almost simultaneously.

How to pre order FIFA 23

To pre order FIFA 23, you will just need to purchase a physical or digital copy of the game.

You will receive information regarding your pre order bonuses closer to the launch date.

All major retailers and online game stores will stock this game.

FIFA 23 Pre Order Bonuses Leaked

While you should take it with a pinch of salt, Fut Sheriff claimed on Twitter that those who pre-order the rumoured Ultimate edition of the game will receive:

• 1 Untradeable Fifa World Cup Fut Heroes player (November 11th) – Only if you pre-order it before August 21st
• 3 Days early access (Play from September 27th)
• One Untradeable Ones to Watch player (from September 30)

That’s not all., They claim you’ll get early access to the game, a bunch of untradable characters, and even a slew of FIFA Points.

We’ve listed what they’re saying you’ll get, but since this comes from a Twitter fan page we’ll have to wait for any official confirmation:

• One TOTW1 player
• 4600 Fifa Points
• FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick (Son, Vini Jr, Davies)
• Mbappe Loan (5 games)
• Career Mode Homegrown Talent
• 1 Untradable FIFA World Cup FUT heroes player

• 1 Untradable ‘ones to watch’ player.

Will FIFA 23 be available on last gen consoles (PS4/ Xbox One)?

Nothing official has been released about FIFA 23 just yet, however, we can safely assume that FIFA 23 will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms as it was on FIFA 22.

Will FIFA 23 be on Switch?

Considering that the Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s best selling console ever, t’s highly likely that FIFA 23 will arrive on Switch.

But don’t expect it to use a flashy Frostbite engine. The Switch version of FIFA typically uses an engine called Ignite, because the it better suits the console’s power limitations.

However, it is a vastly different game to the other console versions, with last year’s FIFA 22 on Switch (which was called the Legacy edition) scoring poorly with top critics.

Nintendo Life, arguably one of the best Switch-focused publications around, wrote in their detailed review of the : “It may clearly state Legacy Edition on the title, but being kicked in the groin isn’t any less painful if your assailant tells you they’re going to do it in advance.”

Let’s hope FIFA 23 tries something different.
