The game promises to be another take on the Soulsborne genre, but when can players get their hands on the game? More accurately, when can players have their hands cut off and given back to them by this brutal game? Or will you crush the mechanic opposition in your palms?

SteelRising Release Date

A SteelRising release date is currently slated for September 8 this year.

The game is launching across a variety of platforms such as PC (Via Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Notably it’s completely skipping the last generation, suggesting that those systems are simply unable to run the game.

You also might recognize the developer of the game, Spiders from other titles that have been in the public eye recently.

They worked on GreedFall, a critically adored and loved RPG game that was been featured in the free PS Plus games last year, with a sequel to the game announced earlier this year.

Spiders know how to make a quality RPG, so have chosen to move onto one of the hardest subgenres of RPG to master, the Soulslike. Many have tried, many have failed, but Spiders want to create something that you’ll remember long after you stop playing.

SteelRising Pre Order & Editions

There are actually two separate editions of the Steelrising pre order that you can get right now. There’s the standard edition that comes with what you expect: the SteelRising base game, a Marie-Antoinette Cosmetic Pack, and exclusive beta access coming at the end of August.

The special edition, titled the Bastille Edition, comes with a little more. You’ll get the base game, the Marie-Antoinette Cosmetic Pack, Exclusive Beta Access at the end of August, Discus Chain DLC, and the Cagliostro’s Secrets Extension which will be available in November.
