Assassins Creed is quite possibly Ubisoft’s biggest franchise ever. It’s a franchise that’s known outside of gaming as well as inside.

According to sources over at Kotaku, two new games are joining that impressive lineage of games.

Two New Assassin’s Creed Games Are Coming

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC has been turned into a full release entitled Project Rift, which may have been the ‘smaller unannounced premium game’ game that was spoken about during yesterday’s financial call.

That game was delayed as of yesterday, though, meaning that we’re unlikely to see it in this fiscal year.

The other game appears to be part of the previously leaked Assassins Creed Infinity with the codename of ‘Project Red’. According to several sources close to the development, this game will be set in Asia.

What Is Assassins Creed Infinity?

Assassins Creed Infinity is reportedly a platform for several different settings and locations that can then be built upon by expansions.

According to sources, the game is being developed by a large team across Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec, the teams behind Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey respectively.

The game itself hasn’t officially been announced, but September is when Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be showing off the future of the Assassin’s Creed series, so we’ll probably see something around then.
