The whole game is a beautiful and emotional story of a girl and her parents (whom you play as). The gameplay evolves all of the time. It’s like you would put 30 games into one.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is a similar game to the Diablo franchise. You choose a character and build it from the ground up collecting new items.
It might not be the best coop game, but it is worth checking out especially if you like Diablo. There aren’t as many hack’n’slash games that offer local coop so every single one is worth giving a shot.
In Warhammer: Chaosbane you will have a great adventure, and even if the game is not perfect it is so much fun with a friend or a partner.
You can exchange items. There is no better feeling than when a new legendary item drops, you pick it up, and it’s for your friend/partner. Well unless it’s for your character, then that is obviously better.

- Publisher: 2K Games
- Platforms: PC, Xbox One X/S, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
- Player Count: 1-7 players (controller sharing)
- Genre: Horror, Thriller, Story
Cinematic games are often considered something like interactive movies. You do not play all the time. A lot of time is spent watching cutscenes or just making choices.
Games like that have a lot of branching storylines, end outcome will differ depending on your actions. Most of them are single-player games, but Supermassive Games decided to go in another direction.
They mastered the horror genre of games and added a cooperation mode where you can play the game with up to seven players.
You don’t need more than one controller. You can just share it around. A great idea for a movie night with a twist.

Fighting games go way back. We ourselves played or know someone who played the first Tekken or the first Mortal Kombat.
These are the games that often require a lot of patience and skill to master, but are insanely fun to play around without knowing what you are doing.
It is a completely different game to play it seriously and learn the moves, and the characters. On the other hand, it is so funny to just smash buttons and see cool stuff.
It’s a lot of fun to play these games solo against AI, but it cannot be compared to playing with another human being. Some of the titles recommended also have a full story mode like Naruto or Demon Slayer.

The Call of Duty series does not get enough credit for its cooperation modes. Sure it’s fun to play the multiplayer, and even a campaign is sometimes fun.
However, there is a lot of enjoyment inside the local coop modes in this franchise. Famous Zombies mode is one of the best tower defense-ish game modes in a AAA game.
You can fight against hordes of zombies (or sometimes aliens and dogs) or complete the story of Call of Duty Zombies mode.
There is also an addition to Call of Duty Black Ops 3, the Zombies Chronicles. It adds a lot of old and new maps to one of the newest Black Ops games. You can enjoy classic maps from CoD Black Ops 1 or even CoD World at War.

LEGO games are often a way to go back to the past. Almost everyone has their own favorite LEGO game from when they were kids.
These games also allow you to enjoy a pop culture phenomenon and play through it. It is one thing to watch a Star Wars movie, but another to play through the story of these movies.
LEGO takes popular franchises and combines them with well… LEGOs. It is a weird, yet successful combination that makes it a perfect game to play with a partner, a friend, or with your kid.
