The Samsung Galaxy Tab A was first released back in 2019 and has since been superseded by the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 & A8 (click the link for deals on these devices). However, the original Galaxy Tab A is still a solid budget-friendly Android tablet, and the release of these newer devices has knocked its price down further.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is a smaller 8″ screen device (similar in size to the 8.7″ Galaxy Tab A7 Lite), and has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800. Storage sizes range between 16GB and 32GB and it’s powered by a Exynos 7904 Quad-core CPU.
There is also a tougher, reinforced version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, which costs considerably more money but which is extra durable for use when traveling: the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2.
