As the 12th year anniversary for Red Dead Redemption approaches, talks about the franchise have begun in full swing. Red Dead Redemption 2, the latest instalment to the series has been appreciated greatly by fans and critics alike, but the online version of the game seems to be suffering still. According to the latest leaks, Rockstar has something cooking for the franchise under the wraps.
Chris Klippel, a French journalist, who is also the creator of the Rockstar Mag news website has provided the people with some insight into what’s next for the RDR franchise. According to his tweet, he states that he has already confirmed that a next-gen port for Red Dead Redemption 2 has been in the works for several months now.
He further states that the announcement for the next-gen port for Red Dead Redemption 2 should’ve taken place much earlier but it has been delayed due to another big project that is in the works at the studio. The other big project is none other than a remake for the first Red Dead Redemption game. He concludes by stating that this is all the relevant information that he has and he knows that the game will not be named ‘Outlaws Collection’.

Wait & see ! (2/2)

In the end this information does not come from an official source so the players should consume it with a grain of salt. If this piece of information is in fact true then an announcement by Rockstar should be just around the corner and the players should be patient and wait for it to arrive.
