Beyond the sheer satisfaction of playing at one with a roaring metal soundtrack, successfully killing to the beat in Metal: Hellsinger comes with some major gameplay benefits, not least Hit Streak Boons.
Hit Streak Boons count among a set of ancillary systems that affect your multiplier and, by extension, your damage output, turning you into a fierce demon-feller as long as you stick to the beat. These boons are four passives that automatically kick in when you tick off certain hit streak milestones, gaining in utility and destructive potential the higher you go.
Hopping to the in-game Compendium and scrolling down to Hit Streak Boons gives you a description of what each does. Note that they’ll only unlock in the Compendium once you’ve unlocked a specific level and reached the streak milestone. Hit Streak Boons remain active as long as you keep the streak going, deactivating should you bottle it.
For easy reference, we’ve gathered the details for all Metal: Hellsinger Hit Streak Boons below.

- Unlock Criteria: Complete Voke
- Hit Streak Requirement: 6
With Enduring Fury activated, the rate at which Fury dissipates slows down. This boon doesn’t increase the rate at which you gain Fury but reduces the rate at which it fades.
Faster Ultimate Cain
- Unlock Criteria: Complete Stygia
- Hit Streak Requirement: 14
The Faster Ultimate Cain boon boosts how fast you build up your ultimate (right-click on your mouse) for your currently equipped weapon. If your current ultimate is on cooldown, switch weapons to build up for another weapon’s ultimate.
- Unlock Criteria: Complete Incaustis
- Hit Streak Requirement: 22
When Deadlier Dash activates, you pick up a bonus to dash damage. With this boon, dashes morph into more than just a movement tool and actively damage enemies.
Explosive Slaughters
- Unlock Criteria: Complete Nihil
- Hit Streak Requirement: 30
The final and ultimate boon, Explosive Slaughters, sees your slaughters transform into explosions that cause damage in the vicinity of the killed enemy. An excellent tool for crowd control when things get hectic and bagging a nice multi-kill score boost.
That’s a wrap on Metal: Hellsinger Hit Streak Boons. In most cases, you won’t even notice they’re active, given how the game demands all your attention to stay alive and stick to the beat. But, if you’re suddenly plowing through enemies and wondering why, thank the boons.
