The latest installation in the Madden NFL franchise will be a low-demanding game that should be able to run on most newer systems. Even older systems shouldn’t be too stressed by this game as it is fairly well optimized.
Below have listed the official minimum and recommended system requirements for Madden NFL 23. Like always, we generally advise that you take the system requirements with a small pinch of salt, as many of today’s game publishes tend to underestimate the demand that most modern titles put on a PC.
To make your life a little easier, we’ll be recommending a purpose-built PC further down the page that is worthy of this game’s demand. It will not only allow you to push Madden 23 to its peak potential, but it’ll also allow you to stream and multi-task too.
If you don’t know how to look up the specs of your current PC, then have a gander at our how to look up your PC specifications guide. If your current machine doesn’t meet the system requirements of Madden 23, have a look at the suggested pre-built and self-build gaming PCs listed at the bottom of this page.

Madden NFL 23 (or Madden 23 as it is known for short), is the latest entry in the ever-growing American football franchise, which spans back over 30 years. While the new game will feature many of the same system requirements as the previous iteration, some of the game mechanics will differ – with the latest feature being coined FieldSENSE.
Below are the official Madden NFL 23 system requirements, published over at the EA’s official game page.
Minimum Requirements
Recommended Requirements
Madden NFL 23 will run without an issue at 1080p on a machine as cheap as a $500 self-build gaming PC – albeit at slightly reduced graphical settings. If you’re looking to push the boundary on graphics, opting for the higher end of the spectrum, we would recommend a more powerful PC, and a $1,000 self-build should suffice for 1080p play.
For 1440p gaming, you will likely have to cough up for a $1,500 self-build gaming PC, especially if you want to use the higher graphical settings. Users who prioritize 4K gaming on the same high presets will need to consider one of the best $2,000 self-build gaming PC.
For individuals who don’t want to build their own gaming PC, then a pre-built gaming PC for under $800 will generate an adequate frame rate for gaming at 1080p on lower graphical settings. Higher settings will necessitate a $1,000 pre-built gaming PC or something like it for 1080p, a $1,500 pre-built gaming PC will be required for 1440p gaming, and a $2,000 pre-build will be needed to play 4K with decent FPS.
