After teasing a reveal earlier this week, League of Legends has officially revealed the Bel’Veth Champion Cinematic.
League Of Legends New Champion
Bel’Veth is a void creature that meets Kai’Sa in the trailer as she’s travelling her way through the void. Bel’Veth captures Kai’Sa and reveals herself to be a terrifying eldritch abomination with a glowing mouth and tentacles, suggesting that Bel’Veth herself has an underlying and terrifying darkness within her. It’s too early to work out how exactly she’ll play in any way, shape or form, but the trailer suggests her powers will be darker in nature than other Champions from the game, and that she’ll be possessing the powers of evil to take out her opponent. We can likely expect to find out more about the Void champion next week, but it’s unclear as of yet when exactly the character will release.
League of Legends was released back in 2009 and is developed/published by Riot Games. It originated from Defence Of The Ancients, a custom map for Warcraft III, and became so massively popular that it spawned not only its own game, but a media empire consisting of comics, books, games and even a Netflix Original Animated Series. Arcane released to massive amounts of critical acclaim, and won a huge amount of awards across multiple different awards shows such as the Annie Awards and the Golden Reel Awards. The show was recently announced to be getting a second season, too, so this train shows absolutely no sign of slowing down.
