Genshin Impact’s “Echoes of The Chasm” web event now live

Travelers will be happy to hear that another web event has gone live today, this time called the “Echoes of The Chasm” in honour of Genshin Impact’s The Chasm OST album – which is also available as of now. The event will run from June 23rd, 2022, through till June 30th, 2022 (23:59 UTC+8), giving you an entire week to get deep inside this fantastic event.

Alongside enjoying the sounds of Genshin Impact, you’ll also have the chance to snag a reward or two by “sharing to win”. The prizes come in the form of Primogems which can be used in the game to buy wishes, upgrade your battle pass, or replenish original resin.

When does Echoes of The Chasm start?

The event started today (June 23rd) and will run for an entire week (June 30th) – ending at midnight on the final day.

How to enter the Echoes of The Chasm event?

Interested in entering the Echoes of The Chasm event? Fear not, we’ve got all the details on how to enter and potentially win rewards below.

Firstly, head over to the HoYoLab forum and dive into at least three of the songs on the OST. You can find the Echoes of The Chasm OST here.
Once listened, use the top #OST and one of the following topics to share your stories, memories, and opinions to participate in the event. (#My OST memories, #OST Song analysis, #OST Listening Locations).
Remember to mention both topics in your post to be elligible for the prize rewards at the end of the event.

From the three sub-topics, here are some examples of what you can enter to participate (taken directly from HoYoLab):

“1. #My OST Memories

When you listen to the soundtrack, what is the first image that comes to mind? Mining? Or traversing the map with your friends?

You can tell me all about the memories and moments that touched you when listening to the OST!

2. #OST Song Analysis

Just choose your favorite track from The Chasm OST Album and provide a simple analysis! It can be an impressive instrumental section or an unforgettable harmony. I’ve got my pen and paper, ready to jot down notes!

3. #OST Listening Locations

1. The melodious music and breathtaking scenery can always make people stop in their tracks! Come recommend the best places in The Chasm to listen to soundtracks!

2. When posting using this topic, please include images of relevant locations.”

Alongside enjoying the fantastic sounds of The Chasm OST, gamers who participate in the web-based event will also be entered into a giveaway. The giveaway will see 5 lucky individuals selected for a variety of rewards.

Echoes of The Chasm: event rules

Like any great Genshin Impact event, this one also comes with a number of rules to ensure a level playing field.

Below are the rules posted on HoYoLab:

“1. The following situations will be considered invalid participation:

a. The content of the post or the comments violates Community Rules, or plagiarized, or misappropriated content from other authors.

b. Publishing content unrelated to the theme of the event, content that contain any form of advertising, and those which seek to spread malicious rumors or discredit the game and its characters.

2. After the list of winners is announced, if the winner deletes the post of the winning work, the winner will be deemed to have voluntarily forfeited their prize.

3. Each HoYoLAB account can win only one merchandise prize during the event.”
