Some of the big names from India’s Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) scene are doubtful about the Battle Royale’s return following its recent ban.
Following the suspension of PUBG Mobile a couple of years back, BGMI took the country by storm with a Battle Royale experience that has yet to be rivalled. However, the community were alt with a major blow, when the mobile title faced the wrath of the government once again.
While the many esteemed members of the community are trying to start a dialogue and push for the game’s return, the situation seems very complicated for the title to appear on mobile devices anytime soon.
During a recent livestream, star BGMI player Tanmay “Sc0utOP” Singh responded to queries about the future of BGMI in India from fans in his chat to which he replied: (Translated by AFKGaming)
While developers Krafton are working alongside the government to remove the ban, the lack of any updates have caused fans to slowly lose hope over the return of India’s most popular mobile title.
Several rumors have suggested that the suspension might be lifted before the end of the year. However, the recent comments from ScOutOP have put things into question once again. In the end, fans can just hope for the best, and until then, they might have to find an alternative Battle Royale experience to kill their time with.
