Dauntless just released update 1.10.2 to commemorate its third anniversary. To kick off this year’s anniversary celebrations, head to Ramsgate plaza and speak with Bosun Markus Boehr. Just beside him is the First Slayer’s statue, a prominent landmark in Ramsgate. He will offer four new quests. Completion rewards include exclusive Firelight Phoenix cosmetics, the Legend of the Phoenix title, and the Firelight sword skin. Players can relive the fight between Shrowd and Rezakiri in a brand new event hunt: First Slayer’s Legacy.
Trials of Lady Luck is Now Available
Only the most hardened Slayers can enter Lady Luck’s deadly arena which offers exclusive rewards and essential resources. Earn Steel and Gilded Marks to purchase Trials-exclusive goods, and be publicly acknowledged in the Wall of Champions leaderboards. There will be new trials added every week for players to participate in. If you are a newer player, you can join the Normal Trials instead of Prestige mode. There will be both Normal and Prestige Armor that players can earn by completing the trials every week. It is of the most prestigious endgame activities and you could have your name on the leaderboards if you perform well.
New Slayer Quest Updates
The developers have taken a look at how new Slayers are trained in the Shattered Isles and have tweaked the initial quests. This first set of changes is small but set the groundwork for what’s to come. Combat merits are introduced once a player has a need for them and knows what they do. The goal is to make sure all new players have clear goals to work toward from first signing into completing Heroic Escalation over time.
New Return to Light Story Quest
The Dauntless storyline continues. Finally, one of Ramsgate’s allies is able to lend a hand and it is up to the players to find out how the Scarred Master and her monks are connected to the radiant aether. The quest takes players deeper into the lore than ever before and some long-running questions are finally being answered. The new update is one of the biggest Dauntless has ever received.
