Best GPU deals in 2022
Despite Black Friday being months away, there are still deals lingering around from recent events.
Of course, we’ll be updating this page with the best deals we can find come Black Friday – however, for now, we’ll be adding some great offers that are still live today.
Below are the best GPU deals in 2022:
Where to find the best GPU Black Friday deals this year?
Well, this all depends on the availability when the time arrives, however, if there is stock on Black Friday, you can get a GPU just about anywhere.
Demand has outstretched supply for a very long time, so we are unsure how this year’s sales event will fair in terms of graphics cards but you may want to consider looking at a prebuilt gaming PC instead.
However, we’ve seen a good recovery and pricing returning to MSRP. So it is more than likely there will be a good supply during the event. With the price hopefully further offering some good options.

When will GPU Black Fridays sales start in 2022?
So, when exactly will deals go live? Historically, Black Friday deals go live around one week before the actual sales weekend. However, as this year is a bit different, we might see deals going live as soon as November 1st.
We’ve actually already seen some deals go live from Best Buy and Walmart already – mainly thanks to Labor Day which recently came to a conclusion.
To save you time and effort around Black Friday, we’ll be populating this page with the biggest GPU deals the web has to offer. That means you don’t have to worry about trawling through hundreds of pages to find a deal – we’ll have them here already.
How to get the best Black Friday GPU deals in 2022?
When scouring the internet for the best Black Friday GPU deals there are just a few things you can do. But you will want to keep an eye on the pricing between the different pages.
Although they all might start off with some deals, they can change day to day. Especially if the site does any lightning or spot deals. So it’s best to just keep checking and if they’re not going down further you get the best option.
With GPUs, there are a lot of options to pick from if you’re not certain which one to get. So it’s best to have a vague idea beforehand of what you want to get so you don’t miss out on some good opportunities.
Will GPU prices drop during Black Friday?
Yes, but only slightly. We should be seeing a few GPU price drops during the Black Friday sales event, but don’t expect any big price slashes – particular on the newer graphics cards which will be highly sought-after and holding on to their hefty market price. Despite all of this, it’s definitely worth checking out Black Friday sales if you want to be a savvy shopper while upgrading your PC set-up.
Should I wait until Black Friday to buy a graphics card?
We know that graphics cards (GPUs) are in high demand all year round, so it’s hard to advise you to hold on when we know stock may disappear if you hesitate just a little bit. We suggest that if you’re serious about picking up a card, no matter the cost, then there is of course not much reason to wait around until Black Friday, when any and every GPU deal will be contested. Otherwise, it’s ok to sit back and wait if you’re only interested in a snatching a deal.
Features to consider when looking for a Black Friday GPU deal
There’s a lot to consider when searching for a new GPU this Black Friday. You need to look for one that best suit your needs. With a lot of different varieties and options, it can be a bit daunting to pick just one. So we try to outline how to best thin out your options.
Firstly you want to look at how powerful the cards are. Now between different options like AMD and Nvidia, it can be harder to pick out, so when looking at specs it’s best to compare the performance with benchmarks. The first thing is CUDA cores or computes units, which do the heavy work and create the graphics you see. So the best bet is the higher the better.
So there is a hierarchy but as the specs increase so does the price and something like the RTX 3090 Ti had an MSRP of $1,999 and much more than some people need. So then you look at performance and the rest of your setup, if you only run a 1080p screen you won’t need much more than an RTX 3070. So then you look at the performance and if it’s enough for your needs.
Next, you can compare the individual models if you set your eyes on a particular GPU. You can find differences in the core clock, with some models offering an OC or overclocked version. This means it’s speedier and can achieve slightly higher performance than standard so it might be a consideration when looking for a GPU. These tend to have a bit of a higher margin on them as they have to be binned to be capable of working.
Then there is the consideration of cooling. Especially with an overclock and preserving the core you want it to stay cool even under loads. So some models will be better at doing that than some so its best to do check comparisons and tests on those to see. But some more hefty and performative options will come with an extra price usually.

Are there good deals on GPUs on Black Friday?
Previous years have been tough on GPUs, with no stock and ridiculous pricing you’d be far-fetched to find a decent deal. However, this year that may change, with the stock returning and better pricing we may see that. Esepecially with RTX 4000 and RDNA 3 on the way the old stock will be pushed to sell off to make space for the new stuff.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday 2022 falls on the 25th of November 2022.
