I Am Groot
The official trailer for a series of original shorts following Baby Groot’s coming of age story was revealed at the panel. I Am Groot will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on August 10. A second season of the show is also coming soon.
Spider-Man: Freshman Year
Spider-Man: Freshman Year is an animated series that follows Peter Parker’s journey to becoming a superhero. It will start from his freshman year of high school up to the point where he comes Spider-Man. Its art style will be similar to the character’s early comic book art. The character will also get a new Spider-Man suit designed just for the series. The show will come out in 2024.
What If…?
What If…? is Marvel Studios’ first animated series and it will get two more seasons. Season 2 will come out in 2023, with new alternate realities to explore.
Marvel Zombies
The series will have reimagined zombie versions of Marvel superheroes battling it out against a new generation of heroes. The show will come out on Disney+. The series is directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews and written by executive producer Zeb Wells. The show will contain a lot of gore, a staple of zombie media.
X-Men ‘97
The X-Men will be back in action on Disney+ in Fall 2023. The show will feature new adventures in the same timeline as the popular show from the ‘90s. It will feature characters like Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee, Rogue, Storm, Gambit, Magneto, and more. The show will also receive a second season.
