The highly-anticipated Disney+ Series She-Hulk just dropped its first trailer. While the show looks to be a nice light-hearted introduction of the Hulk’s possible successor, the fan reactions to the trailer are not what Marvel would’ve expected.
The trailer has a few shots of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk which fans think are really not up to the mark in terms of CGI. Fans are utterly upset with this development and have taken to Twitter to voice their opinions about the same.
A Twitter user named Sage Hyden hilariously compared She-Hulk to the CGI of the 2001 movie The Mummy Returns where The Rock shows up as the giant scorpion. Some other comments by users look like “she hulk cgi the biggest ass in the mcu. almost thought it was a shrek 5 trailer”, “We all agree the CGI in she hulk looks like shit right”, ” Bruh they better fucking fix that CGI bullshit on #SheHulk it’s 2022 dawg”, ” sorry but she hulk cgi looks a lot like a sims character”. Take a look at some more tweets from disgruntled fans, below:

Watched the She Hulk trailer properly. CGI is so bad. They really ruined Jennifer Walters. That look was just so bad and felt like incomplete

She-Hulk CGI is terrible. Take-you-out-of-the-show bad. Pip bad.
I’d happy see the series delayed in order to be fixed @MarvelStudios

Idk how but the CGI in Moon Knight and She-Hulk looks worse than that Black Panther final fight scene

There are people who are defending the trailer as well where one user said “people be complaining about the cgi in she hulk but they’re the same people who would’ve moaned if they didn’t show any she hulk in the trailer”.
Clearly fans are divided over this but the number of people calling it out is far more than the ones supporting it. However, this might not really change anything considering the backlash isn’t that substantial. Or considering it is Marvel and She-Hulk is an important character going forward, they could just make a decision that might not be budget-friendly but will definitely makes the fans happy.
In any case, Marvel has till August to make any changes if they want to as She-Hulk releases on Disney+ on August 17, 2022.
