Ever since PlayStation released God of War for PC, players have been going havoc with the game files to create mods of the best quality.
While many of the mods have improved the experience for players on PC, some modders have taken the extreme route to create hilarious and amazing scenarios for players to witness through their playthrough.
One of the more intriguing mods that caught our attention, involved changes in the character skins of series protagonist Kratos and his son Atreus, as the mod in question turned them into Homer and Bart Simpson, respectively.
In this extreme character skin mod from Omega Fantasy, players can play the entire game as Kratos with a massive outfit of Homer from The Simpsons show on top of the God Killer. Moreover, Atreus also turns into Homer’s son Bart in this mod as well.
The mod grows the characters’ size a bit, which makes it a tad bit hilarious, as certain scenarios causes the body of the two to merge into each other. However, the best part about the video is the hilarious voiceover for the characters in Homer and Bart, with many many lines featuring references to the hit animated show.
Along with that, it’s not just Kratos and Atreus who have received a makeover in this mod, as The Stranger aka Baldur gets a new look in the form of the Simpsons’ next door neighbor Ned Flanders, who fights against Homer in one of the game’s first combat scenes with a special voiceover as well.
Homer fights against Flanders with some special weaponry, as the mod changes Kratos’ Leviathan Axe with father Simpsons’ Wonderbat, which was first introduced in the show’s lore almost three decades ago.
The Simpsons is another character mod in the long list of God of War tweaks that players can find on the Internet right now, and by the looks of it, they are definitely quite fun and hilarious to use.
