The State of Play on June first has shown some interesting things, but one we didn’t expect s the confirmation that PC players are getting a Spiderman Remaster. Also, it teased a Spiderman remastered release date which appears to be an August 12
Article Updated – Miles Morales is coming to PC too
For some reason, This was not shown in the State of Play, but the blog from Insomniac Games has revealed that Miles Morales is coming to PC too. Miles Morales is the most recent Spider-man game to launch on the PS5, which is incredible for PC gamers wanting to get on the game.
Over on the blog, Jurjen Katsman, Nixxes Founder and Senior Director of Development said “I am extremely pleased with our collaboration with Insomniac on the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, the shared support provided between our teams and their dedication to quality above all is inspiring. It allows our team to leverage our technical expertise and focus on creating the best possible PC experience that takes advantage of all the exciting possibilities the PC platform has to offer.”

Spider-Man Remaster PC
So far, it appears we are getting a Spiderman game on the PC. It’s hard to tell what exactly the game features, especially with the new Miles Morales character going off on one. Luckily for you, super Spiderman fans can make out some predictions of what to expect. It seems to be the Marvel Spider-Man, which was released back in 2018 for the PS4. It feels good to see such an iconic game come to PC.
As it stands, we do not know much else about what to expect. Luckily, there is a trailer for you to check out. It is only 30-odd seconds long, so it is a nice teaser trailer for PC fans who happened to have missed this.
I’m the Kingpin
One thing we and many are hoping for are mod support. It might be cool to mod in some Venom costume or make some Kingpin-looking enemies rather than the big thicc builders you fight in the game. The possibilities of it coming to PC are certainly endless, but we shall wait and see. There is not even a pre-order page available yet on Steam or Epic, so we shall wait and see.
The other interesting precedent that Sonty is now set is that they are not against bringing Spiderman games to PC. The recent Miles Morales version could be a cool appearance on PC, especially since that was one of Sony’s biggest launches for the PS5. We have recently seen God of War and Horizon come to PC, so in a few years, maybe Miles Morales comes to play.
