Anime fans in Bangalore will be able to immerse themselves in all aspects of Japanese culture, from food, anime, manga, cosplay to music and gaming at Atsumaru Euphoria. It’s a day-long bash that will celebrate all aspects of Japanese pop culture. The event will have three festivals rolled into one: An anime festival, an electronic music festival, and a food festival. This allows fans in the city to experience a 2-hour curated anime playlist, access to curated merchandise ranging from apparels, accessories, books, and comics, as well as a dedicated gaming pavilion. Hundreds of fellow anime fans and cosplayers will attend the event.
This would be a chance to immerse yourself in creative activities and be amazed by stage shows. It doesn’t end there. Atsumaru will offer access to a diverse spread of curated food which would include Japanese dishes such as ramen, sushi, tempura, onigiri, dashimaki tamago, and edamame will be available in both veg and non-veg options provided by the city’s Japanese restaurant, Matsuri. If you’re in the mood to try some other cuisines from Bangalore’s top restaurants, then biryani from Bheema’s, burgers from BMD, tapas, grills, and desserts from Amiel Gourmet, baos from Atsushi Suzuki, and three long cocktail bars will keep your taste buds busy. Azaan Feroz Sait, the founder of The Hub Bengaluru, describes it as “a festival built by creators for creators in the ultimate playground for creators in Bangalore – The Hub Bengaluru.”
The 12-hour-long event aims to provide attendees with massive, multisensory experiences. Mingle with other anime fans while enjoying the electrifying music, cyberpunk lights, and food in this pocket-friendly premium festival. “Join us for what will be the most unique rooftop festival in The Heart of Bengaluru!” says Abrar Basith, founder of I Know a Guy Productions. “12 hours of incredible music by some of the best house, techno, and pop DJs. Cosplayers, anime themes, and immersive LED visuals will dot the party to add to the vibrance and colour. All-day sushi, burgers, grills, and of course beverages. All of this in green, scenic, and large sky garden spaces with a cyberpunk vibe to make a sensory experience worthy of Bangalore.”
The first Atsumaru took place almost a year ago and a hundred and fifty anime fans from Bangalore attended the event. Atsumaru Returns was held this April, which saw five hundred attendees. Atsumaru Euphoria will be the third and the biggest iteration of the event.
Atsumaru Euphoria will be held on October 29, 2022 at The Hub Bengaluru in Safina Plaza, 84/85, Bangalore.
