Can I Run Scorn On My Computer?
Scorn is an absolutely disgusting game, but it also has a lot going on visually. Despite this, you might be shocked to hear that you won’t need a high-end rig to run the game at steady framerates and 1080p resolution. Even so, you probably want to check out your hardware specs if you want to be 100% sure that you’ll be able to run the game when it releases this October.

Scorn is a first-person atmospheric horror adventure game that is set in a disgusting world inspired the by works of H.R. Giger. The game’s central theme is being thrust suddenly into the world while unprepared, so the details of the actual in-game world are intentionally being kept secret by the developers. You’ll have to solve puzzles and travel the dangerous world if you ever hope of learning the game’s many secrets, though you’d better have a strong stomach for it.
Scorn is heading to PC and Xbox Game Pass
Today is your lucky day if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the game. Scorn is now available on both Xbox Game Pass and its PC counterpart.

You can install the game now by checking out the Xbox App on the windows store for PCs. If you’re on an Xbox console, you should be able to find the game available for download in the game pass app.
What Gaming PC Do We Recommend To Play Scorn?
As we mentioned previously, while Scorn has a lot going on visually due to the intense art style, it’s not over the top when it comes to hardware requirements. If you’re building your own PC for this game, a minimum investment of $500 should see you hitting the minimum system requirements easily. Just be on the lookout for the availability of graphics cards, as this could potentially jack up the price. Similar story for those wishing to hit recommended specs, though you’ll have to start out closer to $600-$700 in this case.
Obviously, with a pre-built machine, you’ll probably need to spend more. Luckily, as the processor requirements for this game are so low, you’ll only need to move up to around $600 for minimum specs. $800 should cover you for recommended specs, but you might have to go up on that price a little if you’re going through a re-seller.
