Xiaomi upgraded the RedmiBook Pro 15 laptop to 12th gen Intel processors back in March, now it’s time for the Ryzen version of the laptop to get a new CPU. The selection is the same as last year just one generation ahead – the base model comes with a Ryzen 6600H, but you can also pick a 6800H. And you can get an Nvidia GPU if you want it. The 14” model was updated as well, using the same processors, though without the GPU option.

The Ryzen 6600H is a 6-core/12-thread processor (6nm TSMC) with a built-in AMD 660M GPU (6 compute units) and a TDP of 45W. The GPU is built on the RDNA 2 architecture, which means noticeably higher performance than the Vega GPUs of previous Ryzen generations.

The Ryzen 6800H option increases the core count to 8-cores/16-threads and doubles the GPU compute units to 12 (680M) while also increasing their clock speed from 1.9GHz to 2.2GHz. This is a 45W part as well. Whichever processor you choose, it will be kept cool by two fans.
Xiaomi went with LPDDR5 (6,400MHz), the only available option is 16GB. For storage, you get a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, again with no other options.
One thing that you can choose is whether you want an additional GPU or not. On offer is the same Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 that was also used in the Intel version of this laptop as well. It comes with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
Moving on to the screen, it is a 15.6” panel with 3,200 x 2,000px resolution. It has 90Hz refresh rate and boasts 100% sRGB coverage with perfect calibration (deltaE

The display measures 14” and maintains the same standard of quality – 100% sRGB, deltaE
